Soaring to New Heights...

For half a century, FLEMING MANUFACTURING CO. has been at the forefront of the concrete industry... a world leader in the design and production of precision-engineered, specialty concrete machinery. Ingenuity and creativity are the hallmarks of the FLEMING tradition. In a highly competitive market, our corporate goal has always been to provide quality solutions, not just quality equipment. To date, clients in more than 60 countries have benefited from the "FLEMING advantage" - the superior product quality, increased output, and production flexibility only a FLEMING system can provide. Now, However, the industry faces the challenges of the 21st century... dwindling natural resources, rapid technological advancements, a global economy. And FLEMING is prepared to meet those challenges head-on. With characteristic farsightedness, our skilled executives and professionals have dedicated themselves to a new "attitude"... a multi-faceted approach to the future needs of an international clientele.. a "new generation of equipment and service."

An American Tradition...

FLEMING is a classic American success story. Canadian born T. Harry Fleming emigrated to the United States after graduating from college and entered the concrete business in St. Louis Missouri, in the early 1940's. He learned the trade quickly and, full of innovative ideas for improvement, founded the Concrete Transport Mixer Co. in 1943, where he began manufacturing the renowned "Rocket Mixer" ready-mix concrete units for trucks. By 1946, Harry was ready to broaden the scope of his operations, and FLEMING MANUFACTURING CO. was established. The firm's initial product was the FLEMING-100, a small, hand-operated, turn-over machine, and the first of many ingenious technological solutions FLEMING would pioneer. When the post World War II construction boom resulted in burgeoning demand for concrete building blocks. FLEMING headquarters moved to Cuba, Missouri, in 1951, to increase plant size and capacity. In the late 1960's, Harry's son Merle took the helm of the business and, once again, demonstrated the firm's responsiveness to changing market demand. Under Merle's leadership, FLEMING became the world's foremost concrete specialists - developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art equipment for the production of all types of construction, landscape, and specialty components. In the mid 1980's the management reins went to the family's third generation, William M. Fleming. Visionary driection has led FLEMING beyond the United States to Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. In late 2000 FLEMING was acquired by Eagle Building Technologies. Their outreach in the international markets has assisted FLEMING in surpassing previous foreign market sales two fold. The acquisition has not affected our excellent customer service or day-to-day business. With the current changes in leadership, and the dedication of many long-term employees, FLEMING's future will continue with a pledge of consistency, of pride and dedication to quality unparalleled in the industry for FLEMING clients and employees.

On the Wings of an Eagle...

Three words hold the key to FLEMING'S success and longevity in the field:

Simplicity - The simpler the design, the easier a machine is to operate and maintain.
Flexibility - Modularity and versatility are primary considerations in the engineering of every piece of FLEMING equipment. Our reputation has been built on our ability and willingness to customize to client specifications.
Productivity - Our business is to help you make money. Increased output means increased profitability, but we won't increase productivity at the expense of product quality. Each concrete product generated by a FLEMING machine will be of the same high quality, cycle after cycle.

FLEMING'S comprehensive equipment systems include:
  • Batching Systems
  • Mixers
  • Mud conveyance systems
  • Versatile casting palletizing
  • Molds
  • Fresh product palletizing
  • Cured product handling systems
  • Product splitters

To meet our exacting standards, every FLEMING machine and component is submitted to rigorous testing procedures prior to shipment.

A FLEMING designed system can be as automated as your goals dictate, and our state-of-the-art electronic controllers are designed, built, and serviced in-house.

Among our many technological standouts over the years have been our rugged, reliable mixers and the original FLEMING casting machines... and the trend continues with our newly developed, high-proficiency cured product de-palletizing and clamp cubing systems.

Emphasizing versatility, FLEMING'S various casting machines have the ability to make products from 1.5" (12.7mm) to 12" (304.8mm) in height on a single machine.

For the multiple product producer, another major innovation introduced by FLEMING is the "floating pallet size" variable, which allows the producer to match machinery to the desired volume and product.

Leading FLEMING'S advance into the "new generation of equipment," however, is the FLEMING "Eagle", the consummate concrete casting machine. Designed for large or small operations, the Eagle provides fully-automated, high-volume production of concrete landscape and building products, such as:
    • Standard and mortarless block
    • Soffit block
    • Retaining wall systems
    • Fencing
    • Paving Stones
    • Brick
    • Erosion Units and many more products!
-at the highest output levels in the industry!

Automated, innovative, farsighted... at FLEMING, we don't provide equipment, we provide technology!

    We Provide Solutions...

Revolutionary advances in technology require revolutionary new approaches to customer service. As a result, one of the most recent developments at FLEMING is our fully-integrated, "team" approach to servicing our clients.

Our expert consultants and technical representatives will help you choose the best and most economical machinery for your business objectives - from a single piece of equipment to a total, turnkey operation.

Our engineering professionals will assist you in designing a system - or even a complete plant - to meet your requirements and your available space.

Customer-beneficial services provide installation and training, including extended instruction programs and state-of-the-art maintenance procedures.

Yet another FLEMING innovation, with special applications for emerging countries, is our portable plant setup. This block plant can be moved from one construction site to another, avoiding the transportation problems in areas of the world with limited infrastructure.

Consulting and training services are offered before, during and after equipment purchase transfer packages for:
    • Plant planning
    • Building technology, including mortarless and other patented construction systems
    • Aggregate analysis
    • Optimal mix design
    • Multiple methods for objective achievement
    • Development of performance specifications
    • Customized training programs for design, operation, and maintenance
    • Costing and feasibility programs
In addition, we offer an annual preventative maintenance program. Prompt service and replacement of parts when necessary, and a customer hotline to handle any questions you may have.

    A Vision of the Future...

As global demand for durable, high quality construction material resources continue to diminish, opportunities for the concrete industry are virtually limitless.

At FLEMING, we have the knowledge, the technological skill, and the experience to assist our clients in seizing those opportunities... from recycling by-products to building entire communities!

Whatever the scope of your project, FLEMING has the equipment, the engineering and design capabilities, the know-how, the follow-through - and the desire - to make your vision of the future a reality.
