The employees and management of Reid Fleming Industrial, formerly known as Fleming Manufacturing Company, are proud to announce the opening of our new production facility at 7 Industrial Drive, St. James, Missouri 65559. We chose to vacate the original manufacturing plant (circa 1948) in Cuba, MO, for a modern facility after part of the structure collapsed in November. The loss of space and ensuing cleanup hampered production for several months. The new site in the St. James Industrial Park affords us greater visibility along the I-44 corridor, and it is more accessible for trucking and shipment. Reid Fleming Industrial is situated prominently adjacent to the Interstate. Look for our sign.
As part of the fresh start, the front office has been realigned to ensure that you will be dealing directly with those who design and make the machinery, develop our products, and run our production operations. Despite the reorganization, most of our valued partners and core production team of longstanding remain. Employee longevity of experience ranges from 15 to 35 years.
Don Bast, a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla, is our engineer-extraordinaire, having conceived and created all of our batching and handling machinery since 1972. Bast has been instrumental in the evolution of the MF series and is singularly responsible for the unveiling of the new big board Eagle Excel. He is skilled in every nuance of design and can develop a machine, plant, or mold according to your specifications.
Wyatt Todd, our general manager, has held virtually every production position at Fleming Manufacturing in electrical, hydraulics and welding since his arrival 15 years ago Prior to his tenure here, he ran a block plant in Texas. Todd spearheads sales and customer relations. He and Don Bast have installed full production plants and trained personnel throughout the world
Jim and Rick Barlet are a family legacy of industrial craftsmanship, having contributed to this enterprise respectively for 30 and 27 years. Rick handcrafts all of our mixers from start to finish, and Jim builds the stackers. Together, they are our resident experts on hydraulics and pneumatics. The Barlet brothers are an integral part of the assembly team, having made conveyors, casting machines, and skip hoists.
Marvin Norris, another veteran of over 10 years, is responsible for all the electronics and circuitry of our equipment. His control panels are masterpieces, a feast for the eyes. Marvin, a native of St. James, is delighted to relocate to his hometown.
Molds are our forte and "stock in trade." And Jim Tucker, Mr. Mold Box, has been precision crafting them for over a decade, having held the role of foreman in the plant for many of those years.
Our master machinist is Bryce Howdesheel who can simultaneously operate multiple Mazaks (C N C lathe). And who ever said that men can't multi-task? Bryce is well versed in the finer points of industrial milling and cutting. And he too joins the ranks of 10 years seniority.
If you need parts or information, Paul Miller is your guy. He is the first point of contact and voice of Reid-Fleming. Paul is a font of knowledge, and he can connect you with the appropriate in-house authority.
